Oakdale has an experienced operating room team who ensure patient safety before, during and after surgery. Recently, Oakdale was rated in the top 10% in the state and country for medical excellence in general surgery in a national study of healthcare providers. From arrival through discharge, every member of the surgery and hospital team works to keep families informed, answer patients’ questions, provide education, prevent infection, and monitor the patient’s experience. At Oakdale, our services include endoscopy, orthopedics, gynecology, urology, general surgery, ophthalmology, dentistry, minimally invasive surgery, ENT, vascular surgery, and podiatry.
Our Same Day Surgery unit allows for many procedures to be performed in an outpatient setting. Patients typically arrive in the morning early and go home the same day once they have recovered from the procedure and anesthesia. Our nurses follow up with each patient once they go home to address any concerns or questions a patient has.
