In Radiology our goal is to provide quality, accessible healthcare to our patients. We work as a team with doctors, nurses and other clinicians to deliver comprehensive care. We offer a wide range of diagnostic and interventional services, including all routine x-ray exams. Our Radiologic Technologists are highly trained with advanced registries and are focused on patient safety and care. We offer out-patient procedures as well as scheduled procedures.

Our imaging services include:

  • X-RAY
  • 3D MAMMOGRAPHY
  • DONE DENSITY
  • COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY (CT)
  • ULTRASOUND
  • NUCLEAR MEDICINE
  • FLUOROSCOPY
  • MRI

X-RAY:

We provide the best in digital imaging. Digital x-rays use 80% less radiation than traditional imaging. This reduction in radiation improves safety for patients. Digital sensors also produce more detailed and precise images. This enables us to provide the very best in patient care. We offer all routine X-ray exams.

3D MAMMOGRAPHY:

Our 3D Hologic imaging system allows us to offer the very best in breast imaging. We are passionate about early breast cancer detection.  Our Mammography Technologist is extensively trained and cares that each mammogram is of the highest quality. We have a team of Radiologist who are remotely present during each exam and are highly trained in breast imaging. Our patients are able to interact virtually with the Radiologist providing face to face patient care. We offer mammography screenings, diagnostic exams, breast ultrasounds and breast biopsies, all in one location.

BONE DENSITY:

Our Hologic Bone Density imaging system provides a painless, quick procedure that uses low dose radiation to measure bone strength and density. This is a screening exam to monitor bone health and provide early detection of osteoporosis.

COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY (CT):

A CT exam is a diagnostic imaging procedure that is able to produce detailed imaging of the body, including bones, muscles, soft tissues, organs and vessels. CT exams can be done with or without a contrast material given by mouth or intravenously for more detailed visibility. CT exams are extremely helpful to diagnose and treat many conditions. We also assist our surgery team with CT guided biopsies and procedures.

ULTRASOUND:

We have a highly experienced team of Ultrasound Technologists who perform all routine, general ultrasound exams. Ultrasound imaging uses sound waves to produce images of the inside of the body. We offer vascular ultrasound exams to help identify a range of conditions including blood clots. Ultrasound is also helpful to diagnose the causes of pain, swelling and infection in the body’s internal organs and to examine a fetus during pregnancy. One of the greatest benefits to ultrasound imaging is that it does not require ionizing radiation exposure.

NUCLEAR MEDICINE:

Nuclear Medicine exams use small amounts of radiation to create images of soft tissues, bones, and internal organs. Radioactive material is safely used to detect or treat diseases. This specialized exam can help in the diagnoses of a wide range of conditions. We are able to perform all routine nuclear medicine exams including nuclear stress tests.

MRI:

We offer a mobile MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) unit with a 1.5 Tesla scanner alone with GE software. MRI uses a magnetic field to create detailed imaging. MRI is a noninvasive way to examine organs, tissues and the skeletal system. A variety of conditions can be diagnosed using MRI. We can perform all routine MRI exams and also have the capabilities to perform various angiograms when needed. One of the greatest benefits of MRI imaging is that it does not require ionizing radiation exposure.

FLUOROSCOPY:

Fluoroscopy is a medical imaging technique that uses a continuous X-ray beam to create moving images of the body in real time. It is used in many procedures and examinations to diagnose and treat patients with various conditions. We offer routine fluoroscopy exams.
