Butch brings over 25 years of healthcare leadership experience to his role. Most recently, he served as CEO of Beaumont Emergency Hospital and Premier Urgent Care in Southeast Texas. His distinguished career also includes serving as CEO of several hospitals across Louisiana and Tennessee.
Earlier in his career, Butch held key operational leadership roles, including Chief Operating Officer of The Medical Center of Mesquite in Texas; COO and Assistant Administrator at Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in Clarksdale, Mississippi; and COO of Perry County General Hospital in Richton, Mississippi. Prior to entering hospital administration, he was affiliated with the University of Memphis Athletic Department, where he served as Head Football Athletic Trainer.
Butch has been an active voice in healthcare policy, serving on the Louisiana Hospital Association Board of Trustees and testifying before the Senate Committee on Health and Welfare. His civic engagement includes service on the Louisiana State Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners and the St. Mary Parish Chamber of Commerce Board.
He holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Public Administration in Healthcare Administration from The University of Memphis. A strong advocate for community involvement, Butch enjoys supporting local events and organizations.
Butch has been married to his wife, Cindy, for 20 years. Together, they have four grown children—Katie, Coleman, Miller, and Hank—and a beloved six-year-old granddaughter, Penelope.
